| Government of India has passed Human Organ Transplant Act (HOTA) in 1994 which was adopted by government of Karnataka on April 4, 1995. It legalized brain death facilitating cadaveric organ transplantation. A committee has been formed to make rules, regulations and conditions for cadaveric transplantation |
